Mark and I decided to go berry picking. There is the perfect spot to take the kids. We will definitely be trying to make it again (who can beat free?). I am excited to know that we will get to have blackberries this winter in something. Let me know if you know of any great recipes using blackberries. We have been really enjoying blackberry milkshakes.

I miss being able to pick blackberries for free! We used to take the kids out all the time and they loved it. I still refuse to buy them at the store....yummy...enjoy!!!
So cute!! There is a really good place there by the baseball fields.. Do you know where that is? I dont remember the name of the street but ill tell you how to get there from enumclaw high school. you take a left out of the student parking lot. go all the way down that street to the stop sign and take a left. at the end of that road you will see baseball fields on your left (this is right before the "T" in the road to go right to white river). There are a bunch of berry bushes (if you are looking at the field from the parking lot) on the left hand side. We used to go there all the time when we lived in enumclaw. you dont get free berrys here in utah like you do in washington.. haha. Anyways, i hope this helps. Have fun and eat some berries for me!
